Dhaka- - - Ayesha Airways, another private sector airlines, is expected to start operation from August next.

The new airlines, an enterprise of ITC Group, got license from the Civil Aviation Authority to carry passengers in domestic routes.

Ayesha Airways will also seek permission from the government to operate flights in regional routes, said a press release yesterday (Saturday).

The new airlines has already signed a contract with Swedish aircraft manufacturer Saab AB to procure four aircrafts – two 37-seater 340-B and two 58-seater 2000-S planes.

Some 50 airlines have been operating about 500 Saab aircrafts of different series in North and South America, Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia.
